OsteoZone is a bone density building studio where 15 minutes a week of brief loading movements can help you improve bone density without medication.
How a session works
A trainer starts you on a vibration plate and leads you through stretching and balancing exercises to warm up your muscles.
You move to the osteogenic loading equipment, where a coach guides you through four different exercises along four axes.
You push at your best effort for five seconds against fixed resistance, then move on. A coach checks your form every time.
Some clients finish with an optional 10-minute hydromassage. It isn't required, but it feels great on your muscles.
The science
Bones respond to mechanical stress by activating osteoblasts, the cells responsible for building new bone tissue. Over time this natural remodeling process may improve bone density when combined with proper nutrition and overall health.
Osteogenic loading applies short bursts of high mechanical force to stimulate that process, focused along four axes to stimulate bone building in the spine, hips, legs, arms, and ribs.
Gym vs. OsteoZone
Our story
We come from a family where osteoporosis is very prevalent. We had no idea we would have had osteoporosis before even hitting menopause.
After twelve months of once-a-week osteogenic loading — no supplements, no other changes — a follow-up DEXA scan showed a lumbar improvement of 8% and a hip improvement of 12.1%. That call from the doctor is why OsteoZone exists.

"Client testimonial to be supplied. Two or three sentences on the experience of the weekly session works best here."
"Client testimonial to be supplied. A quote about DEXA results or confidence and balance would sit well in this slot."

Common questions
OsteoZone is a specialized bone health studio focused on improving bone strength through osteogenic loading—a science-based method that uses brief, high-force mechanical loading to stimulate the body's natural bone-building process. Our guided sessions are quick, safe, and designed to help individuals who want to improve or maintain healthy bone density.
Adults concerned about bone loss, men and women over 40, people with osteopenia or osteoporosis, peri-menopausal and post-menopausal women, older adults wanting to remain active, and anyone seeking to proactively support bone health.
Osteogenic loading is generally very safe and well tolerated. You are supervised and coached during all of the exercises and you are in complete control during the session. You are pushing against fixed resistance; the device is not moving. A health review is completed at your initial session so we can adjust to any limitations you might have.
Lifting weights helps build muscle strength, but it does not typically trigger bone growth. Research shows that bone builds only when it receives about 4.2 times your body weight in force. This force is very difficult to safely achieve at a gym with weights.
Our specialized osteogenic loading equipment allows our clients to safely direct more weight/force than they would likely be able to achieve in a gym environment. These forces are also very intentionally directed to the primary areas you would seek to improve bone density. OsteoZone focuses on short, heavy, intentional, guided movement so you can build bone safely.
During your first visit, we will go over a thorough health history review and discuss your goals. If one of your goals is to improve bone health and strength, you are in the right place! A trainer will do a free guided session taking you through the four different exercises and answering any questions you may have. Expect your first session to last around 45 minutes and all future sessions are 15 minutes.
